Horse Harnessing & Driving Classes
When arranged in advance, this can be part of a team building event, or it can be a
stand-alone activity. Instruction will be given to the participants on the various
types of harness as well as the placement and fitting of the harness. This is meant
to be a “hands-on” course with student participation on all levels. There is valuable
information on general horse care, grooming and even a short section on shoeing the
draft horse. Plan a full day for this program and you will have the opportunity to
drive a team of draft horses on a variety of vehicles.
