Driving Instructions
For our guests traveling on I-25 we offer these thorough driving instructions.

For Northbound Travelers on I-25

Getting off the Interstate
  Take exit 11 and make a left-hand turn at the stop sign.  This will take you over 1-25.  You will make another left-hand turn on the frontage road and be heading south.  Make sure you turn on the frontage road and not the onramp for I-25.  The frontage road is the 2nd left, not the 1st after you cross 1-25.

Going over Trinidad Lake Dam
   Continue south on the frontage road for 0.6 mile.  At that point you will make a right-hand turn.  This is slightly complicated as you will turn as far right as possible.  There is another road that bears to the left, but you want to go all the way around to the right.  You will then cross over a set of railroad tracks.  Continue up the hill and over the bridge that crosses an abandoned railroad bed.  Next the road will cross over the dam for Trinidad Lake.  You will then come to a stop sign which is an intersection with Highway 12.

Traveling on Highway 12 (a.k.a. Highway of Legends)
   At that point you will make a left-hand turn onto Hwy 12.  Continue west on Hwy 12 until you reach the small community of Segundo.  There you will find Ringo's Market.  Set your odometer at that point.  The turnoff for the ranch is another 0.7 mile further west.  At that point you will see 2 street signs on the right.  One will say Colt Ranch and the other will say 43.6.

Getting off Highway 12 to the Colt Ranch Bed and Breakfast
   Turn right onto County Rd. 43.6 and continue up the hill.  Bear right where the sign indicates Colt Ranch to the right.  You will come to a sign that says Primero Ranch - a private community.  There will be a green gate with a keypad on the left side of the road.  You will need to enter the 1st gate code you were given to open the gate.  Once through the gate, continue up the road approximately 0.5 mile where you will see another Colt Ranch sign on the left.  There will be a large entryway with another gate.  Again there is a keypad on the left side of the road.  Here you will enter the 2nd gate code you were given.  Follow the guest parking signs and come to the front door.

For Southbound Travelers on I-25

Getting off the Interstate
   Take exit 14 and proceed straight through the stoplight until you come to a stop sign.  Continue straight through the stop sign on Colorado Ave. until you come to San Juan St.  Turn left onto San Juan and continue to the next stop sign.  You will go straight through this intersection and will then be on Highway 12.
